Is your school looking for a new way to raise money?

Would you like to help your local community reuse and recycle more?

Many schools rely on community events to raise funds to support the purchase of equipment for their schools.  Unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic has stopped many traditional fundraising events from going ahead.  The Waste Education Team have lots of fundraising ideas for schools on our fundraising pages.  This week we are highlighting the #DeclutterandDonate campaign by www.ziffit.com.

Ziffit.com provides an easy way to trade in old books, CDs, DVDs, and games via their website and app and donate the value of the items to a charity of your choice. This provides a great opportunity for school PTAs to raise funds and help raise the profile of your group during lock down.  It can also be a fantastic way to encourage your local community to reuse and recycle while charity shops are closed.

Ziffit are a registered  B Corp™ and are part of the growing circular economy, reselling and recycling books and media through World of Books and other platforms.  You can find out more about them on their website.
