This year the Great British Spring Clean was moved from March to September due to the Lockdown restrictions. More than 680,000 people pledged their time to clear litter from their local areas. It’s looking good for participation this September, with many rearranged litter picks now taking place.
There are several ways you can take part this September:
- Join 5 friends and do a socially distanced litter pick;
- Go solo and pick up litter in your local area by yourself;
- Ask your school to register and take part by doing some litter picking in the school grounds (or beyond);
- Ask our Waste Education Team to help you do a litter pick in your local area – see our Workshops page for how to book.
