Our Autumn term waste poetry competition received over 300 entries! So many children from all corners of Devon wrote and submitted inspiring and informative poems about different waste issues, from composting to ocean litter. It’s amazing to see so many high quality pieces of poetry.

Yesterday, the best poems for each age category were decided by our panel of professional Exeter-based poets. They were impressed by the quality of writing and the messages conveyed about waste issues.

The shortlisted poets have now been invited to our Thank-You awards on the 6th March where the winners will be presented with their prize from the judges themselves.

Well done to everyone who took part in the competition!
