We have some exciting news about our short story competition.
We have just heard that the legendary Devon based author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare will be helping us to judge the shortlisted stories!
I don’t know about you but I have been reading and admiring Micahel Morpurgo’s books for a long long time so we are really excited about this!
Are you an amazing author? Can you write a creative, compelling, curious 500 word short story about waste?
Our Waste Education Team are running a short story competition for children aged 7-14 in the Winter/Spring. You can enter if you are a child aged between 7 and 14 and living in Devon (not Torbay or Plymouth). Stories should be about a topic on rubbish or waste, including plastic pollution, reducing waste, composting, reusing, recycling or even Bonster the Hungry Monster.
Find out more, including how to enter, on our Short Story Competition pages.
