Build a Bug Hotel

This activity will help you reuse and repurpose garden or DIY waste to create a new habitat for bugs and other wildlife! Just like us, bugs and wildlife need homes too – whether that’s a quick stop at a hotel or to place to build their own.  Click here for instructions on how to build a bug hotel.

Take Part in A Litter Pick

A mini litter pick is a great way to help children understand why we all need to take action to look after our natural world.  You can do it anywhere; on a beach; in your street; in the countryside.  All you need are some gloves, a strong carrier bag to put the rubbish in and to follow some basic health and safety. Click here for more information about doing your own litter picks.

Reuse magazines for 3D shapes

Do you have leftover magazine or newspaper? Reuse your paper to make 3D shapes such as pyramids, cubes and more! You could even decorate them afterwards. Click here for 3D shape instructions.
