Devon County Council works with Resource Futures to deliver a wide range of workshops, assemblies, resources, training and visits to support teachers to embed the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) into the curriculum and everyday school life.

We are now taking bookings for our outdoor workshop from the 8th March until the Easter holidays (with limited availability) and for the Summer term 2021. Our workshops are currently available FREE OF CHARGE!

Our workshops are Covid secure and fully risk assessed, this might mean that our delivery is different to usual in the following ways:

  • We have reduced the number of workshops on offer.
  • We will deliver workshops outdoors in your school grounds wherever possible. In the event of inclement weather we may work in a large, well-ventilated school hall or we may need to cancel.
  • We may ask teachers to present a video or PowerPoint in the classroom ahead of the session starting outdoors.
  • We have reduced the length of workshops or the number of workshops we will deliver in a day. This gives our team more time to clean and prepare equipment and resources.
  • Our team will not enter classrooms or staffrooms and they will take breaks off the school premises.
  • The team are getting weekly lateral flow tests, as per Government advice for all school staff.
  • Our staff will adhere to Government guidance including hand washing and social distancing guidelines.

Please talk to a member of the team to discuss your requirements and find out more.

When you book a workshop online your details will be sent to the Resource Futures Education Team. Find out more visit Resource Futures and view their Privacy Policy.
