A practical session of litter picking locally is followed by the chance to discuss the impact of rubbish on terrestrial and marine environments and for students to explore solutions.

Feeling inspired by the ‘Blue Planet’ series? We can extend your workshop by helping to organise a beach clean.

Please ensure pupils are dressed appropriately.

Covid adaptations: this workshop takes place outdoors, in your school grounds, the local area, or nearest beach. Your waste educator will send online resources ahead of the visit to share with your class. The litter pick and discussion of results will take place outdoors at an appropriate social distance. Please consult with your waste educator about the most suitable location for the litter pick in advance of the visit.
