A ‘rubbish’ feely bag allows children to explore the properties of materials before deciding whether they should be put in the bin, recycled or reused. Moving around the space they will act out the recycling of a tin can before making a fridge magnet to take home.

Covid adaptations: this workshop will take place outdoors or inside a large, well-ventilated school hall. We will work with half a class at a time (approx. 15 children) to enable appropriate social distancing during activities. Your waste educator will provide materials for a practical activity after the input.
