There are lots of resources available to help get school children learning outside. Check out the Outdoor Classroom Day website and other organisations like the Wildlife Trust, Learning through Landscapes and the National Trust, who all have resources to help get kids outdoors connecting with nature.
Our Compost Curriculum provides the ideal starting point for an outdoor classroom experience. If you have a compost heap in your school grounds there are lots of opportunities for learning. Or why not start a compost heap and try some school gardening too.
