Teacher training

The Devon Waste Education team are hosting a free teacher training day at Killerton House, to help schools become more sustainable. The Department of Education’s ‘Sustainability and Climate Strategy’ advises all schools to create a climate action plan for 2025 and to have a sustainability lead. This training day is about helping you as teachers, achieve that goal.

There will be presentations from Let’s Go Zero and the Climate Ambassadors programme. They’ll be outdoor activities with The Field Studies Council, National Trust, Devon County Council, Resource Futures and the Waste Education Team.

The day lasts from 9:15am-15:30pm, at Killerton House, EX5 3LE, October 16th. Packed with training activities and networking opportunities.
