Watch out for a monster in a bin coming to a school near you soon!

Bonster The Hungry Monster is a book and assembly produced as part of a food waste campaign in schools in West Devon, East Devon, Mid Devon and the South Hams. Our staff, accompanied by a wheelie bin, visit schools and do an assembly, introducing the story of Bonster the Monster.

The story’s hero is Bonster, who travels from ‘Leftover Land’ to meet some local children and finds out just how much food we waste! But have no fear Bonster can also save the day as he loves to eat food waste and can put it to good use.

The aim of the interactive story is to engage schoolchildren who take home Bonster the Monster stickers for their food waste caddy at home. If they find they don’t have one, they can collect one from school the next day.
